Such a tease

A few days ago I bought Kelsie a little potty with high (possibly false) hopes that I will somehow have her potty trained by the time she is 2. I decided I would just start sitting her on it before and after her bath and see what happened. The first night, Josh did it since he generally gives her her bath. The second night, which was last night I sat her on there and we read two short books. She jumped up, acting happy and I noticed that she had peed. I was thrilled! Maybe she actually knows what she is supposed to do on here I thought. Of course I had to immediately call Josh, my mom, and sister with the exciting news.

After her bath I decided to sit her on it again because she generally goes pee afterwards and I really wanted to test my luck. She sat for a second but wasn't really cooperating and I wasn't really sure that she even had to go so I wasn't too disappointed when she got up quickly. I was a little disappointed though when I noticed half a second later her squatting next to the potty, peeing on the floor.
