Try again

Both girls are getting so big, its crazy how fast it's happening. Karissa will be 6 months in just a couple weeks and Kelsie is just 4 short months away from being 3. They both genuinely adore each other the vast majority of the time. Kelsie can always make Karissa smile and most of the time she loves to do it. We've just started seeing an occasional glimpse of jealousy if Kelsie isn't getting as much attention as her sister. Karissa loves every ounce of attention she gets from Kelsie (and anyone else for that matter) except when it involves hugs of gorilla strength or sitting on top of her.

Karissa just started being able to sit up using her hands to hold her up a few days ago and the past couplr days has lasted for a few seconds with no support. She is sleeping through the night more often than not. She usually goes to bed between 6 and 630 depending on her naps that day and sleeps until 730 or 8 waking up once between 4 and 7 to eat. She takes 2 to 3 naps, it varies on how long and when they were. And while we weren't sure what we had gotten ourselves into the first 6 weeks, Karissa is overall a VERY happy baby IF she gets her sleep and isn't sick.

A couple of things from the past few days:
*Kelsie likes to save her accidents up, she will go weeks without one and then will have 5 in 2 days which is unfortunately where we are right now. So when she peed on the floor again today (always right on front of the toilet) I asked her if she had another accident. Her reply, "calm down mom."
*This morning as we finished off our oatmeal I was enthusiastically beating the top and asks her if she wanted a drum. She looked at me like I was crazy and simply said "no thank you." I guess at least she was polite.
*Last but not least. Josh and I were standing outside talking to the neighbors about 45 minutes after Kelsie went to bed and she opens the door. We had been out there for about 15 minutes and apparently rather than being scared that she couldn't find us when she woke up she uses it as the prime opportunity to create some artwork on at least 4 separate walls throughout the house.
