My Days . . .

are becoming increasingly filled with conversations such as these:

The girls and I were outside playing on the swingset when we heard some hammering of a new roof going in nearby.
"Hear dat mom," Kelsie says, one of her many new favorite phrases.
"Yeah, I did hear that Kelsie. What do you think that was?"
"LIGHTMING BUGS!"
"No, I don't think that was a lightning bug, lightning bugs don't usually make a noise and they just come out at night when they can flash their light."
"Why,"
"Well, because you can't see their light flash unless it's dark."
pauses and thinks for a minute "Dad's flash light inside"

;-) You just never know what kind of fun the days hold. Kelsie wasn't an early talker but she is making up for lost time now. If there is ever silence, another one of her favorite phrases is "talk mom!" You can just see her soaking it all in and it's so incredibly fun to watch.
