After too much time trapped indoors due to the ridiculous heat and Karissa's unpredictable napping schedule we were getting desperate for things to do. We had tried story time once or twice since Kelsie outgrew the baby one but I wasn't impressed and neither was Kelsie. Unfortunately this meant a fun time was a stressful time instead. Against my better judgement we tried again and I couldn't have been more thrilled.
Maybe it was a classic example of how having low expectations makes things seem so much better when they do work out or maybe it just really was that exciting :-) Either way seeing Kelsie jump, sing, and dance with all the kids and listening to the stories so intently, I really could not stop smiling.
This picture is actually from the second time we went which was with a entertainer and not quite as enjoyable. Unfortunately, we have to wait 2 weeks for storytime starts back up again but if things continue to go as well we will definitely be putting this on our schedule regularly.
