or more specifically 9 months
and really good at doing this

She also is a pro at peek-a-boo. And that blanket, it's her favorite. (Shhhh, I don't think she knows that we have 4 of them.) If she finds one and she is getting anywhere close to tired, or needs a little break, she brings it to her face to rub and suck her thumb. It's also how she falls asleep.


She has 2 teeth, although only one actually made it in before the 9 month mark. 3 days before to be exact. You can actually see the one now rather than just being able to feel it but not without a fight. And clearly I'm not capable of getting a picture of it.She is a pro at drinking out of a sippy cup, has been for about a month. This may have a little to do with the fact of how often she finds Kelsie's laying around. Oops. As far as eating, she pretty much hates anything I feed her but will eat anything she can feed herself. Unfortunately, with only a quarter of a tooth our options are limited at this point.



She is a super speedy crawler and pulls up with ease. I don't think she is going to be walking for quite a while, who knows though, she's surprised me before.

We've reached the stranger anxiety stage quite unfortunately. Sorry to the doctor, nurse, and everyone else in the office who listened to her blood curdling screams while being checked out and weighed. Stranger anxiety + serious mamas girl + cold objects = really upset baby. Speaking of stages, ohmygosh she puts everything in her mouth. I suppose this is to be expected, but trying to keep anything and everything small off the ground when you have an almost 3 year old has proved darn near impossible.


At her checkup she weighed 17lb 7oz and was 27.75 inches. She is the exact same length as Kelsie at this age, and weighs exactly 1 lb less. She was in the 25% for weight, 65% for height, and 20% for head. To put it like my friend Deborah did (who was the best ever and came down to visit this weekend) she has Josh's head and looks like my sister. And she is pretty darn cute if I do say so myself.
