Not me (us) Monday

It's been awhile since a not me Monday but a little extra motivation to actually publish a post never hurts so here are a few things we have not been doing lately.

We did not decide that the detour on the way to my parents house that added 5 minutes was much too long and we needed to find a short cut. No, seriously, we did not, but my husband might have. But, you know, GPS on your phone is infallible so if we would have decided to take a shortcut it certainly would not have led us down an impassable dirt road that we would sink, slide, and get stuck on, only to find the road was a dead end.

If something as crazy as that were to happen I would still trust my husband completely and not begin sobbing hysterically scared for my life despite the fact that we were only going 10 mph. Besides this 2 wheel drive Mazda was made for road conditions like this.
We actually did make it safely, and without a tow truck to my parents so surely everything went calmly the remainder of the weekend. Since my daughter always listens to me and never gets out of bed when she is supposed to be sleeping she certainly did not get up and while trying to come out accidentally lock herself in the bedroom. Never fear, since I have a monitor with a camera, I would have not have forgot to turn it on so that I could see what was going on with a barely 3 year old, locked in a not babyproofed room.

And, last but not least, we have after 2 children definitely figured out this whole photography thing. We certainly would have not attempted a photo shoot that turned out like this.
And, when I tried to be in the picture to hold my squirmy children, the pictures definitely would not turn out even worse.



My daughter would not demand to have a picture taken alone rather than with her sister and start posing, she does not like any attention on her whatsoever.

We definitely did not do this with only minutes to spare before church because it is one of the rare occasions that none of us are in our pajamas. We always look our best around here ;-)
