This is for you

Date night/Josh's birthday/work Christmas party - we don't go out very often so we multitask
Sadly enough, this was my idea, and probably a terrible one. It was pretty hilarious though and I could help but to take a picture.

That is probably what I was doing when I should have been writing Christmas letters. Sorry about not sending them out, I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and that you will forgive me. It was more than I could take on this year, my mind is shot at the end of the day with two very needy (but enjoyable) children.

Speaking of the special holiday, Christmas was tons of fun, unfortunately we were all a little under the weather (except Josh) so the girls didn't make it to Christmas Eve service. Between missing one service, rushing to get to Wichita, and being terrible with remembering my camera in general, I didn't get any pictures of them in either of their Christmas dresses.

I did get a few of them in their matching pajamas on Christmas morning though.

Kelsie checking out Karissa's new camera from Pa & Granny

This was from the night before Christmas Eve when our family exchanged presents and opened the few we had here. Kelsie and Karissa got a couple books for Christmas and anytime they did Kelsie would stop opening presents so she could read the book first. She seriously is in LOVE with books. We go to the library at least once a week and she gets about 12 books and spends countless time looking at them.

Karissa turned 11 months a couple days ago and also enjoyed Christmas. This is a little teddy bear she got that was super soft and she just loved cuddling. I measured/weighed her today and she is still in the 25% for weight at 19lbs and about 55% for length at 28.5in. She is a lot of fun, and a lot of work. She tries to imitate anything and everything, especially noises from Kelsie (lion roars, screams, shushing, etc.) She seems to be trying to go down from 2 naps to 1 but it varies. She sleeps for usually between 1-2 hours/day in naps and from 6:30pm to 7:30am at night waking once in the early morning hours to eat.

She keeps me quite busy but between a rare hour and half nap from her today and Kelsie playing like this for about 30 minutes by herself, I've had an unreasonably productive morning.
